Like many writers, I’ve been writing stories ever since I was a child. I always knew I wanted to be a published fiction writer, but it wasn’t until 2005 that that dream actually came true. Not as a fiction writer, but as a freelance writer.
I started writing as a volunteer for a local newspaper in Paradise Valley, Arizona — covering society galas and charity events. From there, I began writing for magazines — interviewing celebrities, sports figures and business owners. Eventually, my volunteering paid off! I was hired as a freelancer by the newspaper.
Since then, I have moved on to other publications — in Arizona, California and online.
My areas of expertise include the arts, American and Korean culture, pop culture, entertainment, American and Korean history, Hollywood history, local attractions, tourist destinations, museums, exhibits, genealogy, and books.
I’m thorough, have multi-task ability, able work independently and meet deadlines, friendly, reliable, able to handle confidential material, have knowledge of computers, the internet, and social media.
